Where the project started.
A 4,200-member church had 8 years of sermons stored in 3 different platforms (YouTube, Vimeo, Dropbox). Members wanted to search by topic, scripture, or speaker. The existing site was a Wix template with no search functionality.
Approach
How we shipped it.
- 01 Built custom WordPress site with Church + Event + Sermon schema.
- 02 Imported and structured 412 historical sermons with topic, scripture, and speaker taxonomy.
- 03 Implemented site search with filtering by all three taxonomies.
- 04 Tithely integration for online giving with recurring donation prompts.
- 05 Event calendar with schema markup for service times and special events.
- 06 Multi-campus location pages with directions and service times per campus.
