Where the project started.
A 9-year-old CPA firm was on Wix paying $39/mo with mobile Lighthouse 0 (literally unable to score). They were ranking page 2 for "annapolis cpa" but feared a redesign would drop them off the map entirely.
Approach
How we shipped it.
- 01 Built complete redirect map covering 47 Wix URLs to new WordPress structure.
- 02 Migrated content with full preservation of titles, headings, internal linking, and meta.
- 03 New design system with AccountingService schema, tax-season landing page, and client portal link.
- 04 Performance tuning: Cloudways hosting, image pipeline, OPcache configuration.
- 05 Pre-launch: tested on staging with Search Console URL inspection.
- 06 30-day post-launch ranking monitoring with daily alerts on any positional drop.
